I hope that folks will also assist medicinals to propagate in urban
landscapes, as well as edibles.

Here is a short list:
Comfrey
Ginger
Horseradish
Jerusalem Artichoke (Root of an attractive species of Sunflower)
Club Moss (antispasmodic)
Plantain, Broadleaf or narrow leaf (Stops Gangrene)
Elderberry (Delicious Elder Tonic)
Indian Gooseberry (Amalaki/Amla)
Beets for greens and roots (Blood Builder)
Red Clover (Blood Cleanser)
Burdock (Calcifications and Blood Cleanser)
Artichoke (Digestive)
Lemongrass (Anti-viral and digestive)
Daylilies (All parts are edible)
Yucca (All parts are edible)
Olive (Olive leaf antibiotic)
Nasturtiums
Can also scatter wheat and other grains for the local bird populations...
Garlic
Bear's Garlic (Rampion)

Keith:

I would suggest using Thunderbird and Gmail exclusively and forget the rest.
Gmail will send incoming messages to a Thunderbird mailbox if you need that
to create an archive on your own computer instead of one in the cloud (on
Google's Gmail server).

Maybe we can develop that thread on useful volunteer plants in out gardens
and permaculture landscapes. This is a topic of special interest to me.
