That is a quote from the linked article. Why was an article like this cited as worthy news for this list? At the risk of sounding intolerant of other viewpoints, my point was this sort of unsupported garbage shouldn't be worthy of this list.

What a can of worms. I tend to believe they (Al Qaeda) do exist, are terrorists or a mix of terrorist and agent provacateur/human manipulators and are a definite threat worldwide, however they are probably professional gunslingers (from birth), without a flag of nationality and for hire as mercenaries. My largely uninformed opinion
