I just read some interesting stuff and got to thinking. If folks that
favor permaculture make a couple of slight modifications to their
on-line habits, then it could have a rather large impact in what the
rest of the world sees as they use youtube and google. In other
words, if you want to get more of the permaculture message to the
greater general public, you can make a rather large difference.
Google's algorithms now consider what people click on when searching.
So rather than searching for "organic foo bar", search for "foo bar"
and select the organic options. Apparently, if this happens from just
a few dozen people, the organic options will start to move to the top
of the search. When non permies then search for "foo bar", they see
the organic options at the top as "best".
Thanks for this, Paul, fascinating and useful! This is how we can make an even greater difference.
