Thank for all the hints and tips, confirms much what I thought.

Getting info on what the rootstock is can be difficult in Turkey, and the 1-2
year olds are Much cheaper than older trees, so I think to buy lots of young
ones and protect them if needed and as recommended until they grow a bit,
then from what you are saying Francis they should be ok, we'll see, if Deiter
is right we may lose a few so I'll feedback some results in 2011. I too
remember seeing citrus covered in snow in Japan.

Snow keeps falling where I m at the moment in Brittany and we got a teacher
training course next weekend so thats not looking good!
