Not many made it through the first winter, but it seems as if those that
survived are now established. Snow helps, I'm sure- but tons of mulch after
die back may have done the trick!
Something I find to be interesting- even those few that do set fruit don't
seem to have viable seed in them...?
John, I'd love to have some of your seed- perhaps there is something I can
trade you?
I'll look more into the edulis x- thanks for the heads up. I have to say -as
exciting and exotic as they are- the fruit have been good, but nothing to
rave about.

Fall 2008 Workshop
Minnesota and the Midwest are at a crucial stage in climate change,
economics, energy descent and transitioning to self reliant homesteads.
Permaculture has principles and ethics to help individuals, communities and
families develop their resources into stable and continuously viable homes
and property.
Permaculture principles guide participants in observing patterns of energy
use and collection and storage of diminishing resources.
This workshop will introduce Permaculture to participants and assist them in
entering new patterns of existence that secure an environmentally supported
lifestyle.

Workshop- Saturday November 8, 2008, 8:00 AM
Homestead Tour- Sunday November 9, 2008 10:00 AM
