Tree Split In Half After Neighbor Dispute

On the other hand when I had to sell my Fathers house there was a matter of
removing a heating oil
tank from underground in a driveway near the property line. A neighbor's tree
was just bareley on his side but branches
hung over our side threatening the house during storms and roots were
underground growing around the tank.
Lawyer advised us not to remove the tank because if we damaged the tree roots
and it harmed the tree we
could be sued. So the tank was drained then filled with foam and left in place. This tree was huge and seriously threatened neighbors house; he would have been well served to have it removed and all would have been better to be rid of the tank.
Short-sighted obsessive idiots at work. Darwin would have had something to
say about them.
