Some folks here have offerend a portion of an organic farm, on which to
start a local community garden. The area is near the barn, and was probably
last used to pasture livestock, so there should be some manure incorporated
into it.
The area has been unused for a few years, so presently has a heavy layer
of last year's dried grass and weeds on it. We will have to plow it, in
order to use it this year. The question is whether or not to burn this, to
minimize the seeds that will be plowed in.
What do you think? Burn or not?
Thanks,
Shivani in WI
