The trend for Eco cemeteries that might also function as reclaimed
land/forests/prairies or as arboreta, is going to hit critical mass

But this could also be a cottage industry out of wetlands stabilization
projects. The Willows, hazels and dogwoods could be coppiced to create
local sources for these sorts of caskets - or even baskets for ashes.
Stabilization, water filtration, habitat, and local economy - Double,
triple and quadruple-duty and all that....
