ARS PR folks tried to find an innocuous term for spraying around bits of DNA
and RNA.
Sounds like they are really creating new viruses.

Just in time to be publicized by the blockbuster movie, Legend, where
billions are destroyed by a genetically engineered virus. Fits that the ARS
research was funded by the Department of Defense. If bits of nucleic acids
can kill insects, can application of the same technology to humans be far
behind?

They are really genetically engineered pesticides, so lets call them by the
right name: GE pesticides.

That definitely leaves an impression. Good thing this will only be used by
deployed war fighters to protect themselves...... against who?
Possibilties:
1) burmese military junta deployed war fighters against stakeholder monks and
secular citizens?
2) by international golf industry hired thug "security" forces against
villagers intent on staying
in their thousand year old idyllic coastal villages?
