The key thing blowing the mobile phone theory is how come CCD isn't
happening everywhere there's mobile phones, and why only suddenly now after
mobiles have been around for so long. There's no CCD in Australia and most
of the country has mobile phone coverage. Australia also doesn't have the
Varoa mite or nosema parasite.
The CCD was observed in a lot of places simultaneously in the Northern
Hemisphere coinciding with the onset of spring and the new forage season.
The posting of the article Asian Parasite Killing Western Bees - Scientist
SPAIN: July 19, 2007 on this list (20/7/07) seems the most consistently
plausable theory emerging citing a recently discovered microscopic Asian
parasite called nosema ceranae as being the culprit.
