In Australia here, we have APT (accredited permaculture training) which is
government recognised training and regulated by PIL (Permaculture
International Limited). Those who have completed a PDC which hasn't gone
through Tagari, (eg. Those who have done David Holmgren's permaculture
design courses) can go on to further training and obtain their permaculture
diploma through APT.

APT is being integrated into schools at cert 1 & 2 and at Tertiary
education places (TAFES) at Cert2, 3, 4 & diploma level.

Have a look at the PIL site: http://www.permacultureinternational.org
where you can download the APT units

cheers!
Fern
