Just as dog breeds or any breed of animals can be 'dumbed down' genetically
from lack of rigorous
choices, by skilled dedication to the qualitative parameters of a 'breed' so
also can bees.
There is a likely connection with the varroa mites effective abundance being
related to cultural
delinquencies. Also the natural predatory index for varroas may have been
made less effective.

This is an outline on the process.
