I trust that this greets you and all well.



You might want to do a search of the archives of this site where we have
discussed this subject a few times over the years. To cut to the chase I use
MapInfo for general plan development and presentation as it is easy to use
and does all you really need. Some background imagery software is handy for
playing around with rasters and of course MSExcel which is where the real
action is in tabling your Bill of Quantities and other reporting. Well
that's how I manage anyway and it works for me.
