How does this compare to applying charcoal (a la terra preta) ?
Presumably TP is both safe and sustainable to soil biota, as they
were doing it for years and ended up with good soil. (Unless this
is a new theory about why they died out? ;)
Is there a concern with the kinds of wood that people bang into
wood stoves, as opposed to the kinds of timber (trees you've just
cut down) that would go onto a farm plot via a farm fire?
I know there's all kinds of nasties in and on dressed timber that
few people consider properly before putting into wood burners.
