My wife & I live a 1/2 mile south of the Permaculture Institute. In our
immediate neighborhood are at least another 3-4 others of our ilk. There are
also a couple of houses up for sale in our little 2 block radius... don't
know what they are looking for, but I'm sure there are a few rentals as well
(like the apartments behind Joe & Pam's place?) Plenty going on in the
strictly Pc as well as fringe-Pc-type activities and folks.

Give them our number (503.281.6788) if they need a contact. We have a spare
room available for a very short time sort of stay (like 2-3 days) if they
need a place to land.

Cheers,
George

My oldest daughter and her boyfriend will be living in the Portland area
for the next three years while she's in midwifery school. They may buy a
house while they're there, but I wondered what's happening in the area
regarding permaculture, if that's not too vague a question. They are both
very interested and might like to be in some neck of the woods where they can
make connections and pursue learning about it, participating in whatever's
happening around there. Thanks, Kathy
