Without going into detailed responses to your posts, suffice to say that
If one adheres to a strict raw foods diet:
1) natural enzymes as well as vitamins and minerals, present in raw foods
are vital to good health; cooking simply removes much of this bounty
2) it will become apparent early-on the need for observing the food combining
rules I described earlier;
not doing this will likely result in poor digestion, less energy and
well-being
2) embracing raw foods in totality results in ongoing discoveries of new realms of foods and food combinations to enjoy and benefit from
I allow a compromise in consuming cooked grains and beans which can also be fermented or otherwise cultured such as tempeh and macrobiotic chutney made with barley
many seeds, grains and beans can be sprouted and eaten raw or ground (dry or after sprouting) in a food or grain mill instead of being cooked
many foods can be combined and dehydrated to make nutritious products
fermented foods ar OK. Examples: seed cheese, rejuvelac, kim chee, kraut and
many other products
