heya all...up here in the nort' woods of WI...we're having
un-(season)reasonably hot humid weather....If...we got all the menopausal
women together....at .....say about 1:30am..tonight...and scraped the
dripping sweat from their bodies and THEN were able to de-salinate it...we
could supply the entire northern continent with water....ya think??? I
know..I'm miserable...but I love the condensation idea...AND the fog
idea...every morning when they give the fog warnings...I think..."now there
is so much H2O going to waste).

Because our nights still go down into the 60's...I could really do the
suspended funnel thing...When we camp out in the wilderness...we use a
tarp...tied to trees and folded just right to drain into a pot for drinking
water..it's just amazing how much we can accumulate in a night...in the event
it rains...we catch more than we can use...

I've got a plumbing supply store across the road that sells these huge
underground tanks (possibly they are for septic)...I've read that
Polyethylene is ok for storing "potable" water in....so they should work
ok...I harvest from my roofs to wash clothes and bodies and hair in....we
haven't drunk it...but I think I've read that Iodination systems are
ok...maybe I'll give that a try...anything that doesn't use electricity...
love and peace..lynnann
