Hi,

Can I ask if anyone knows about the origins of this compound?
What are it's chemical properties and what is it derived from?
ANyone know?

Cheers,
Niels

Isreal,

I have used bentonite successfully to seal ponds amongst other things. NB Sodium Bentonite swells better than calcium bentonite.

Hi,

i have recently read that bentonite can be used to seal a surface if
the soil is not a pure clay soil. I'm thinking to combine bentonite use
with a macrocatchemnt or a swale to retain water in spring and summer as
much as possible. Anyone have experience with bentonite? Could it be
used to seal a pond too?

all the best,
israel.
