Hi Larry, all,

I started to make a DVD documentary about 2~3 years ago. I even went
so far as to hire a videographer to tape segments.

My original idea was to combine a documentary on Permaculture with an
interactive species database and distribute them together on DVD to
raise money to buy my own land (for a Permaculture farm of course ;).

The videographer, Larry Gerald, went and got some footage from
Occidental Arts and some other people/places if I'm not mistaken. A
friend of mine transferred it to his computer but that's as far as
it's gotten. (I just emailed him to ask where it is..)

What we're probably going to do (when I get around to it aieee!) is
put all the raw footage on archive.org for posterity as it were and
then edit and combine it with polish to create actual DVD-worthy
"content" and release that with an affiliate program to allow everyone
to make paper-green from propagating the knowledge.

Since my version of this project is "stalled out" for the moment I'd
love to team up with whoever's interested to produce a dvd.
Permaculture's inexhaustible so there's potential to do a series even.
(We might get the Permaculture Credit Union to handle finances..)

Peace,
~Simon
