hello folks,
looking for some advice or suggestions....
i'm in los angeles, working on a project with zero
irrigation, and almost no water use front yard
landscape
we sheet mulched a burmuda / rye grass lawn
85% of the weeds are gone
10% are in cracks or are weak and pull out easily
5% are prolific in between and around the base of 15
well established 50 year old cacti
some are very very nasty (thorns)
beaver tail to cholla to barrel
they have ruined 2 pairs of leather gloves already!
what can i do?
i would not want to dig 'em up or remove them
thanks,
camille
