- Subject: [permaculture] Question on LLDPE pond/tank liners
- Date: Mon, 23 Jan 2006 23:08:04 -1000
Aloha,
What does anyone here know about LLDPE (linear low density polyethylene) as a pond liner material?
I'm looking at an info sheet for RUFCO brand LLDPE membrane from Raven Industries (USA) that the local Farm Supply Co-op sells.
They have 20 mil and 40 mil thicknesses available.
Is this good stuff? Bad stuff? Why? Why not?
Pros and cons? Caveats? Gotchas?
Any info appreciated...
thanks,
John S.
