This is interesting... Pleached tree housing concept from MIT types.

Yeah, Sun Ray Kelley up in the Skagit (WA state, USA) started a woven tree living structure some years ago, using cedar trees planted in a circle. I don't know if they pleach...? I know he was weaving branches together for walls and floor lattice though, pleach or no pleach.

Anyone up there know what's up with it lately?

The plaster the MIT item mentions would constantly crack as the trees grew, I would think.
