Antonio,

Plant the windbreak trees in the native soil, than mulch the surface around
the drip lines to promote healthy establishment and growth. DO NOT put
manure in the tree holes, since it will generate methane, which will air
prune the roots. Trees benefit greatly from mulching and fertilization
compared to no action at all.
