Ask them for an assay of the dust. They should be able to give you what's in it. Obviously some dusts have asbestos, cadmium or other problematic materials you wouldn't want to put into your vegetable garden. If they just tell you it's clean dust, that's not quite good enough, IMO.
They can provide or obtain a MSDS for their dust - Materials Safety Data Sheet, federally required. Their operations are also inspected with regard to water used on site and its condition as it goes off site, by way of the siltation ponds from which the rock dust is dredged periodically, allowed to dry then trucked to your farm.
