SPRING PROGRAM at DJANBUNG GARDENS PEC

SEPTEMBER
Sat 4th & Sat 11 - SPRING FEVER Open Days 11am-3.30pm
Incredible Edible Tropical Tubers & other planting materials for sale
including galangal, tumerics, cassava, yacon, jerusalem artichoke, Qld &
Jamaican arrowroot, day lilies, lemon grass and more.....
ALSO Garden tours, course information, refreshments.
LETS trading day also at Djanbung on Sat 4th from midday

Thurs 9th Sept. from 7pm
Nimbin Reggae Club at Djanbung - canteen open

Wed 9 & Thur 10th Sept, 9am-3pm
BAMBOO HARVEST - a Work for Wisdom working bee
& learn about clump management, harvest, treating & curing.
Bring something to share for lunch

Sat 11th Sept. Chief Datu from Philippines
4.30 garden walk
6.30 Food available
7.30 Chief Datu presentation: talk, music, traditional wisdoms, forest
logging & protest update re last old growth remnants

OCTOBER

Sat 2nd LETS Trading Day from midday

11-29 PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE
The full PDC conducted over 15 days in Djanbung Gardens living classroom.
Tutors: Robyn Francis, Peter Hardwick, Janelle Schafer
Some accommodation & camping available on site
APT accredited course is a foundation for Pc Certificate 3 & Cert 4

NOVEMBER

Sat 5th LETS Trading Day from midday

8-12th BUSHFOODS & NATIVES in PERMACULTURE
Course with Peter Hardwick
Intensive information packed and lots of hands-on

17-20 WORKING IN OTHER CULTURES
APT training for those interested in working with Indigenous communities and
multi-cultural groups, and volunteer work overseas

22-27th WORKING IN OVERSEAS PERMACULTURE PROJECTS
Includes appropriate technologies, tropical & dryland food production,
health & nutrition, community centred development & basic project management
APT accredited training - Diploma level.
