Mulchpig-- I think you're going to want to install a catchment screen or
some other method to separate your solids from the urine first. NCSU has some
tried and proven ideas here...

I think this system is brilliant, and a lot of trial & error has gone into
it.

Much depends on how elaborate you want your system, and how much you can
afford to put into it. Here's an idea designed for beef cattle feedlots that
should work well for hogs...

You can't go much cheaper than digging a pit and covering it with membrane.
With PS (pigshit) a gravity system with conveyor belt would minimize the
shovel
work necessary.
