Hi Group.

First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. I have just joined this group
(I've been lurking for a few days now). After a lifetime of renting me and my
family finally have 1 acre of land an hour north-west of Brisbane, QLD,
Australia that we can call our own. I grew up on an organic farm, but managed
to completely extract myself from that way of life for a good many years.
Now, suddenly my spirit yearns to re-attach itself with nature. I am at
research stage at the moment and reading everything my eyes can grasp (and
there is a lot out there thanks to the www). My plan is to incorporate
permaculture ideals into our land and make it as sustainable as possible, I
am already saving as much "waste" as I can get my hands on.

Anyway, in my travels for knowledge, I found this site posted on another
group...

A very informative look at Japanese spiritualism and history in regards to
the way they do agriculture. Thought some of you may be interested. Look out
for the "Next Page" links at the bottom of each page, they are easy to miss...

Best regards.
