Reminder Notice

For people interested in teaching
Accredited Permaculture Training (APT)

Permaculture has now been formally accredited in Australia with Vocational
Education & Training qualifications, Certificates 1-4 and Diploma of
Permaculture. The accredited training is owned by Permaculture International
to ensure permaculture retains control of the training and that people can
conduct accredited training independent of TAFE. Accreditation opens up
opportunities for students to access government funding for their fees and
the training fees are exempt from GST.
For further information about APT see www.permacultureinternational.org

Creative Adult Learning Facilitation (CALF)
and
Course Orientation Workshop (COW)
January & February 2004

Teachers of APT are required to have done a PDC, Course Orientation Workshop
(COW) and hold a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (AWT).

The COW is essential for all people intending to teach APT and focuses on
the specific assessment tools, processes and pathways for APT delivery,
including teaching in schools, TAFE and as independent trainers. People who
already have a AWT Cert IV will need to complete this course.
For those who donĀ¹t have AWT Cert IV, this workshop together with the CALF
addresses all the competency units for AWT Cert IV.
( see below for dates & venues)
