If you have an erosion problem on the road, it's probably too steep to use
to collect water along its length. Instead, put the water into the soil in
lots of locations, where trees can use it.

small swales, one for each water bar. perhaps with wood buried in the swale
or berm to develop the soil and moisture retention, ala Fukuoka & Mazibuko.

This is all very simple to demonstrate on the ground. Via email you need a
poet with an engineer's understanding on both ends.
