Actually, yes. At my most cat-ridden, I had eleven, plus a couple of dogs. It takes a little orchestration to get them to ignore what's in the next cat's bowl and concentrate on their own, but it can be done. The dogs, of course, have to stay out of the kitchen until the cats are finished.
It does, however, take eleven bowls.
