I bought a hand grinder for pepper corns for 50 cents at a tag sale. It
was almost an antique...at least 40 years old. It works exceptionally.
I think it was made before the industrial mass production concept of
"planned obsolescence" became the corporate manifesto.

I agree that bringing back some virtues of old times, like pride in
craftsmanship, has a place.
