Well, sort of. The google search is on *all* of ibiblio.org, so y'all
need to search smart to avoid wading through tons of crap (as usual in
a web search... :-p).

See below.

The tip for the PC list is to include the word permaculture in the
search string. The listserv software puts [permaculture] in every
subject line, so when I search on

permaculture gopher

I get the hits on gopher from the permaculture list archives *first* in
the results.

Better yet, I just discovered:

Go here: http://www.ibiblio.org/ecolandtech/google.html
... and click on the image with "Search Archives" in it,
which takes you to:
http://www.google.com/search?q=&domains=ibiblio.org%3Bmetalab.unc.edu%3Bsunsite.unc.edu%3Bgigabit-ethernet.org%3Blists.ibiblio.org&sitesearch=ibiblio.org&sitesearch2=ibiblio.org&search-image.x=43&search-image.y=4

Where you can select searching any of 6 machine addresses, the last being that of our PC list server, lists.ibiblio.org. Select that one and search for
permaculture gopher .....
And after 3 pages of hits, most of which is the gopher thread, this message is displayed:
"In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 23 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included."
