richard: Ive began a biotecture subsection at the permaculture wiki. A
wiki is a series of open editable webpages that anyone can add
information, links, photos etc. just takes a little bit to get the hang
of it. perhaps you could put this out in your next newsletter for
interested folks to use this space to think outloud, document their
projects, etc

LIVING STRUCTURES

"The following is adapted from an article titled On the Use of
Biotectural Systems published in Permaculture Journal No. 7. It is based
on a lecture given by Rudolph Doernach to landscape architects in Bonn,
Germany.
Doernach's work goes far beyond the points canvassed below of
creating an oxygenated, disease-free environment, and 'bio-fitting'
described here; it also encompasses the growing of whole houses on land
and beneath the
sea!"

Richard Ream's Arborsmith Studios is the most active matrix of the
biotecture movement. Highly recommend his occasion newsletter report
which he sends out full of pics & links of the latest Biotecture
projects he's in
touch with.
