gardens, and community spaces. Projects include community living, energy
efficient houses, water recycling systems, solar technology, and creative,
abundant gardens. Choose demonstration sites to match your particular
interests or locality. Participate in workshops with local practitioners to
ensure that you too can try this at home. 10am - 5pm. Choose sites on
booking form. Some venues not suitable for children between 2 - 12 years.

Gourdgeous and others. A perfect opportunity to connect with friends old and
new and to honour and celebrate our community.

Sunday 2nd December
Going Forth
Deepen your knowledge of particular areas of interest, make connections,
source information and prepare to move forward into a re-energised
Permaculture practice! Robin Clayfield, inspired Permaculture educator and
author of You Can Have Your Permaculture and Eat it Too, will host an
interactive session, followed by practical workshops on a wide range of
topics. 9:30am - 3:30pm Urrbrae Agricultural High School. Lunch will be a
low cost, waste-free vegetarian BBQ - please bring something from your
garden or local food co-op to add to the salad! Children welcome.
Children
Permafest is an all ages smoke and alcohol-free event. Children are welcome.
On Friday and Saturday evenings and on Sunday there will be a children¹s
space adjacent to the main area, with creative materials, activities and
sleeping mats. There are also basketball courts and grassed areas for play.
Kids are invited to share their thoughts and energy with the workshops and
celebration if they choose to. Some of the sites for Saturday¹s workshops
and tours will be child-friendly - see booking form for details. Children

Helpers...
Permafest is the SA Permaculture community¹s major annual event. It is a
celebration, a gathering, a learning space, and our primary way of reaching
out to the broader community. For Permafest to bring about its potential
iit needs the input of our whole community.
Everyone¹s contribution will make a difference to the depth and reach of
Permafest, and there are many ways to participate, with as much or as little
time as you have to offer.
One way we need everyone¹s help is by letting people know what¹s happening
- by talking to friends and colleagues, and by distributing posters and
leaflets in community spaces and notice boards. Please contact jeremy on
8351 2404 or at jsalad@senet.com.au and he will happily send you more
copies, and tell you more about how you can contribute.
Bookings & Further information
Booking by 21st November is essential - booking form enclosed. Information,
