- Subject: [permaculture] how to clean eggs
- Date: Tue, 20 Oct 98 15:39:03 PDT
Hi folks,
though this list deals mostly with agricultural issues, permaculture is a
little more, like the inclusion of chicken. So I hope you don't consider it
off-topic when I ask you how to correctly clean eggs. The thing is that here
in Mexico we were advised to not clean them with water, at least not in
summer, as that alledgedly increases the possibility of spoilage. But I think
that those big "egg factories" don't sand the eggs individually, like we do.
So there must be a way do wash them, though perhaps not with water. Anybody
knows how it could be done?
