Prepare the soil in a portion of some field on the property then fence
it in. Plant a diverse orchard with companion plants, shrubs and
trees. Put the unwanted geese within the fence to keep the orchard
fertilized and weeded. Maybe this orchard/field could exist near the
pond and down hill from it somewhat so that a small irrigation ditch
could connect the two. With a gate on the ditch the field could be
watered and fertilized with the nutrient-rich pond water. Or pump the
pond water to an irrigation ditch system within the orchard.
