Has anyone pulled down the bioregion dataset? I'm
contacting WWF to get permission to use it myself, but
if anyone wants the DDL/Data I created, let me know. A note about the DDL is that it is in Sybase TSQL,
while the data is ~ delimited.

Whats DDL?
Which dataset are you talking about the Global 200 or
some other data.

Has anyone mapped postal codes to bioregion yet? What
postal codes will need to be stored for other
countries?

For the UK a typical post code is "PL22 0QJ" i.e.
two letter, one or two numbers, a space another number and
two letters. I think they did analysis of different types of code and this one turned out to be the easiest to remember.

Table list:
bioregions
bioregion_types
regions
bioregion_country
countries
zipcodes

The zipcodes I'm supposed to keep a link on my site
for 6 monthes. It's just for development for now, so
no big deal for the moment.

Tricky problem. A quick search for "GIS countries" found lots of datasets available which might help up. Haven't got time to
really look through all of these, but.
