This is not a serious problem but I have a hive I didn't expect to survive the winter because it was weak. To my surprise it seems quite strong by the amount of bees flying happily the few times the weather has permitted. Because of my doubts for their survival I closed them up with 2-2 sugar water, 3 frames of honey and a bit of pollen with the hive wrapped on three sides with plastic.
Since they are doing well (I checked) what should I start feeding them now? Wish I could kiss 'em!
Thanks,
Janet Weinberg
