Hmm, it looks like the mailing list scrubs photos. Oh well, it was a photo of
a lot of young leaves surrounding pink buds about to open into blossoms, with
lots of leafy tree in the background.

Subject: grafting apples out of season
I wrote previously about how I planned to try to save my husband's uncle's
seedling apple via grafting. We were there yesterday. I doubt we could have
picked a worse day for collecting wood if we'd specifically tried. I attached
a small photo of the tree...
Meanwhile, my potted rootstocks have all (except one) sprouted and look like
healthy growing little plants.
