The ones I saw at the beach in DE were quite variable. Some bushes
produced few fruits or produced fruit that was small or dry. Others were
loaded with larger (though still small) fruit that looked like large
blueberries and were quite good eaten out of hand (not astringent), but
even better when made into jelly.
