Named varieties are propagated by grafting. What you get from
seedlings is unpredictable, so they are mainly used as rootstock.

I tried making cuttings and couldn't get them to root. Maybe someone
else will have better luck.

Two varieties that have done well for me are Rebecca's Gold (large,
mid-season) and Pennsylvania Golden (medium-sized, early).
