Beware that trifoliate orange is invasive in the southeast. A friend of mine has a farm that is covered in the stuff, 50 acres or more. The plants have invaded surrounding woodlands. They cannot be mowed as the thorns cut tractor tires. They have taken out a lot of them with a bulldozer. But given the proliferation of small plants in hard to reach areas, it is clear that they are there to stay.
