Does anyone have experience growing Korean Pine, Swiss Stone Pine or Siberian
pine for pine nuts in Zone 3, esp northern Minnesota?

Hi Sam,
The reason, once-in-a-while, I would want a persimmon with a grainy texture
(which some persimmons get as they carmelize) is because it makes me feel
like I'm eating food, not tree-candy - not that the later isn't great: e.g
'Morris Burton' - nectar-sweet & juicy. I think, for me, the best
combination of all desired characteristics can be found in 'Lena'.

Could you please tell me why a grainy texture like Yates has would be
appreciated or valued? Does this equate to being firmer? -- Sam Brungardt,
