Jim,

Tell me more about your maypops (Passiflora incarnata). I've tried them here in SW WI (zone 3-4) and they've not wintered successfully. I grow several in pots at this time because they are so purrrrrty.

I would love to try growing pawpaws here since the USDA has declared my area to now be in zone 4. I am hesitant because I've had problems with pollination with other fruits I've tried. I'll pick Maypop as an example. The plant grew well and bloomed profusely but the local bees failed to recognize the flowers as flowers, giving it no pollination.
