- Subject: [NAFEX] Pollination problem
- Date: Sun, 27 Mar 2011 09:02:51 -0500
I would love to try growing pawpaws here since the USDA has declared my area to now be in zone 4. I am hesitant because I've had problems with pollination with other fruits I've tried. I'll pick Maypop as an example. The plant grew well and bloomed profusely but the local bees failed to recognize the flowers as flowers, giving it no pollination.
