Chui Lum Tao seedlings survive just fine in clay soil zone 3b (we hit -47
last year which I think puts us at zone 0!!!). They haven't grown very well
and are still at the 2-3' mark, but I haven't lost any either over the past 5
years.
My Tzim Pee Tao seedlings came thru last winter just fine, they lost maybe an
inch at the tops. But they didn't like the sudden really cold snap after the
very wet summer and it looked like they already had inches of die back last
fall.
