Cripp's Pink, AKA Pink Lady, is a good size apple that doesn't oxidize (turn brown) when cut. Nice balance of sweet and tart. One of the best commercial types to become available in my lifetime.
It's grown west of here, so it is hardy to at least zone 6. Don't recall it posseessing any inherent disease resistance.

I'm looking a trying these apple varieties. Can any of you who've eaten these apples attest to their merits?

I'm in coastal California, Zone 9, 8-900 chilling hours.
