I'm wanting to buy a box of mixed fruit - unusual, exotic, and/or tropical fruit, if possible - for Christmas. Awhile back, I could have sworn that someone here posted a link to such a fruit-seller. (As I recall, they didn't normally sell mixed fruit, but would do so for NAFEX members?) I would have sworn I'd saved that information, too, but of course I can't find it now.

Does anyone here have a source for that kind of thing? I'm not really interested in a fruit basket or fancy decoration, although I'll be giving it as a gift. These people (my brother's family) eat a lot of fruit already, but they're not at all adventurous, and I'd like to give them a mixture of fruits they probably wouldn't buy for themselves (or, at least, different varieties than they might find in the grocery store).

Searching online, I've seen things like this "tropical fruit hamper"...

... but it seems like more packaging than fruit. And I THOUGHT there was an email here about a different company, but I sure can't find it now.

So, do you have any suggestions for a box of mixed fruit I can buy online? It doesn't have to be tropical or exotic fruit, but I'd prefer a mixture of stuff that's not what I grow myself (which I already give them in season).

Hmm,... I suppose there's plenty of exotic fruit in the grocery store these days, and I could just buy a bunch of different kinds. But that doesn't seem very gift-like, does it?

Thanks,
