The birds cleaned off my whole crop last year and they got my friends crop
too. My friend's have a commercial strawberry acreage and the honeyberries
were along one side of a strawberry patch: the birds ate every berry off of
50 honeyberries and didn't touch the strawberries. They don't spray so that
can't be the difference, maybe the earliness of the honeyberries brings in
the birds. We are both netting our bushes this year... more news on that to
follow in a few months.
