Jim,
I live in NW FL and am puzzled as to what blue honeysuckle is. Here we have a flowering vine called honeysuckle which has very fragrant yellow and white flowers. It spreads by layering itself---profusely. What is your honeysuckle like?
Many thanks for sharing the recipe!

                                                                Richard

The ones I have taste WONDERFUL!  I bought cultivars Blue Bird and Berry
Blue from Burnt Ridge Nursery.  Like many fruits, they need to be cooked to
bring out the best flavor but they are tasty eaten fresh and better with a
pinch of Splenda.  I microwave a half handful until they burst, then smash
with a table fork.  Add a half cup of oatmeal, a cup of water, 5 packets of
Splenda (I like sweet oatmeal) and microwave on high for 2-1/4 minutes and
enjoy.
